MK2 Fuel Pump Housing Cracked.. What are my options?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

New to the site. Had a look through a few other threads but I'm not really sure where to go with this. I have a 1990 GTI 16V which has a leaking fuel pump housing. I did a botch job for MOT last March with fuel tank putty but it looks like the issue has reared it's head. I know these are now discontinued so I'm unsure what my options are?

I read something on another forum about possibly being able to switch the whole mk3 setup into the mk2.. is this true?

Cheers,

Peter
