Classic Insurance - Just a small tip

5 posts in this topic

Got a renewal from Autoline Coleraine £198 per annum with 4000miles.

Called RH Classic insurance in England and they quoted £123 with same miles, excess etc...

Autoline called today a week before renewal and I told them about RH. So she instantly matched it! Including Legal Fee and Policy Fee.

£123 for the Mk2 GTI per year aint bad. I am sure some of you may have got cheaper but I am well chuffed.

RH Clasic do. They have no problems as long as it is not mentally modified and the BHP increase is not insane. Make sure you have modified brakes that match the BHP increase. Adrian Flux and Footman James (formally AON )have both increased their prices so much you would be better taking out a second policy.

Rh wouldnt touch mine once i said i had a 2.0 engine conversion. But autoline were more than accomodating. Like any insurance, you have to go through the motions to get what you want at the price you want.
