Castlewellan 2014

Recommended Posts

Fantastic day as always, good turn out and lots of nice cars on display (that Karmann Ghia!!!). Only negative point for me was the new awards process - wasn't a big fan of the generations, would have been much better as 10 of the best as some categories had more competition than others.

All in all though, Castlewellan didn't disappoint :D

We have 10 of the best at Titanic Dubs....we tried to do something different here but it needs some tweaking. From a judging and organisational point of view it's much easier for us and seeing as though most people now view Castlewellan as a big chilled out meet plus the fact we have Dubshed for multiple model classes we felt this was something we needed to do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally behind you with on the not doing multiple model classes - its not really that type of show after all. Looking forward to seeing how you tweak it for next year.

Great day at the show, will be processing and uploading my photos later tonight.  Well done to everyone involved!  The wife bought a Dubshed bag to use in work - dedication!

As an aside, does anyone have contact details for the white mk2 that was for sale down the very bottom corner, alongside the white leon with the BMX on the roof?  I took a photo but can't make out the writing!

Thanks

Cracking show, where did you get the burgers from? They were amazing

Comber butchers as far as I know, Nigel supplied them.

Way better than some of the other 'show' burgers you'd get!  ;)
