Mk2 Golf Small bumper, Candy white respray! dubshed pics,

Bought My alpine white 1991 1.3 golf in August 2011, with the intentions of doing a quick rub down and respray and have it finished in a few months, but typically things get abit out of hand and one thing led to another! the engine came out, new interior was bought and alot of time was spent getting this car looking like my perfect Mk2 ! Here's a few pics of how it started and how it sits a year and a half on! Really simple styling yet it looks so good, you must be really chuffed with the finished article. The only thing you need is a proper lambswool wash mitt for that fresh paint !!!!

Nice simple mk2 ..... wheels are the dawgs nutts i can see the Q already forming if you decide to sell them :wink: :wink: great build thread btw...

I have to admit to being a P-Slot fan so maybe I'm biased but Compomotive's take on the originals looks even better in the flesh than the adverts suggested... White's still up there as one of the best colours for a MKII - The combination of the two is stunning, lovely motor.

Little update, as i have been just getting ready for MOT, iv been getting the engine ready as well, I serviced it and just ordered and timing belt kit with water pump I also got a battery tray sorted all i have to do now to the bay is sort out the manifold :/ i think it looks awful compared to the rest of the bay few pics photo9_zps573523b5.jpgphoto8_zps9fb4471c.jpgphoto7_zpse73295fe.jpg
