    Unreal!!!
  9. THE MOT TEST IS CHANGING

What does it mean by 'suspension modifications' is this all types of lowering such as proper lowering springs, shortened dampers, coilovers etc OR just dodgy stuff like eejits cutting their springs in half with a grinder etc?
  10. Unbelievable!!! Top work and can't wait to see this car when done. Always loved this, probably one of my favourite Mk5 golfs of all time.
  11. Mk2 Leon Cupra

Sparky1, Aw memories lol. Naw it was only on for the summer of 2010 when barry the blender was big lol
  12. Mk2 Leon Cupra

I can confirm what Conor says, I usually get 31-33mpg but expect a LOT less round town, about 22 or so. Overall they are good on fuel for a 2.0 T, an astra VXR etc will get nowhere near those figures Tylor, Thanks, it is indeed on portstewart promenade.
  13. Mk2 Leon Cupra

leon10tagg, As long as its got a full service history, correct oil used 5w30 fully synthetic and been well looked after, then there is no major issues to worry about Preferably, an oil catch can should of been fitted as the PCV system recycles oil and carbon laden gasses back into the inlet manifold. The TFSI engine has no fuel passing over the inlet valves due to the location of the fuel injectors in the head. This causes carbon and 'gunk' to build up on the inlet valves over time and the only way to clean these once they are sticking is to take the inlet manifold off etc (a bollox of a job). An oil catch can re-routes the gasses from the PCV into a canister and collects the oil in the bottom, keeping it away from the inlet manifold and valves. But as long as the car has lowish miles (35k-40k max) then it will be fine and you can buy the catch can after you buy the car. The cam follower bucket on the Camshaft will more than likely need changed because most owners don't know its a wear and tear part. But its not hard to do, there is a guide on SEATcupra.net for it. Also, any additional info about these cars can be found on SEATcupra.net under the Mk2 Leon secton.
  14. 1st wash of the year.. Bora
