  7. Thinking of changing the a5

I've been doing a lot of looking recently on what to change my a5 for. I think I may have got a winner in the form of the new golf R. It ticks all the boxes, performance 0-60 sub 5 seconds, price, practical for the family, and I think it looks amazing
  8. Window tinting; advice needed

If you can get to Bangor i can highly recommend Carnology. He has done the last few cars for me and his work is always perfection. There is also Ali Thompson in Ballymoney who has done my previous cars, just a bit out of the way for me these days. Can highly recommend both.
  9. 2013 Beetle Fender edition

gave the beetle the usual sunday wash today. If any of you guys arent using the latest Anachem car cleaning products you really need to try them out. I have tried most things on the market and for cots and performance i cant find anything to beat these. I use lazer as a pre wash for the wheels and the dirtier parts of the car like the exhaust, windscreen, bonnet etc. Just dilute down, spray on, let it sit for a few mins then rinse off. I cannot say how amazed I am at this product. Totally pH neutral so last product safe. Then onto the Anachem snowfoam. Again, this product works just as well, if not better, than every other snowfoam I have tried. Rinse that off then it's onto the Anachem suds. Standard application, in a bucket with water and wash as usual. Dry the car off then stand back and admire how easy your car now is to clean and keep clean. All the products I have been using are last product safe. So the water still continues to bead off the car as if it's just been waxed. Can't recommend this stuff enough guys. Get in touch with big Pimp to get yours. You won't be disappointed
  10. my audi A5

Always go coilovers mate. Gives you so many more options with ride height. Shocks and springs are great but if you aren't happy and want it an extra 10mm lower there is nothing you can do apart from start cutting springs. With coilovers that's never an issue :-)
  11. my audi A5

The coil overs are great, slammed the car and still comfortable to drive, really not much stiffer than the standard set up. Just the speed ramps at either end of the harbour estate are fun lol
  12. carbon fibre wrapping

chris gaw on the donaghadee road did all my carbon stuff in previous cars. He uses the real deal, but it isnt cheap depending on what you want done.
  13. 2013 Beetle Fender edition

got the first 'mod' done on the beetle today nice purposeful tail pipes fitted standard pipes being chopped off and the finished article
  14. my audi A5

got the a5 remapped recently up at auto tune so not putting out roughly 300bhp and 500lb/ft torque and still averaging around 38mpg on normal driving. If i drive like a grandad i can get average of up to 44 oh and sailed through the dreaded mot for another year woop woop
  15. 2013 Beetle Fender edition

haha, ive been out driving it all day absolutely love it. Dont think i could swap it for the a5 though even if it does suit the side shade haha
