  1. Mk4 Golf S TDi

Yes mate, the wife and I are a bit stiff and sore but thankfully that's all. Also thankful that the kids are fine too! Got confirmation that her Golf was written off today, but the car can be replaced.
  2. Mk4 Golf S TDi

So on my way home from church two Sunday's ago my car decided it didn't like the passenger side drive shaft anymore and I had to get it towed home and it sat like this on my driveway for a few days: and this is what was left of the inner cv joint: The reason it took a few days was mainly due to the fact that whilst we were on the way to picking up a third driveshaft (first two were of crap remanufactured quality and wouldn't fit into the hub) we got hit from behind in my wife's mk4 which is likely to be written off. So we no longer have "his n hers"
  3. Mk4 Golf S TDi

I was marshal on stages 2 & 4 of the Ulster Rally on Friday afternoon/evening/night and my humble golf was on official duty closing the road
  4. Passat pd130

I'd love an estate one of these but finances don't permit at present :(
  5. Yea I found my calipers slightly sticky. I got a Laser tool which mostly worked ok once I got the piston moving.
  6. Mk4 Golf S TDi

The big girl passed her MOT on Monday with no issues, so I'm well chuffed
  7. GTiNI Meet - Few Pics

I forgot bout this and I had really hoped to have made it
  8. Mk4 Golf S TDi

Playing around with a new app on my phone and a pic I took of my Golf when parked up at the Donard Car Fest at Newcastle last weekend:
  9. Mk4 Golf S TDi

It's been a while but after the GTiNI show I suddenly felt the need to do a little tidying of my little beat up Golf. My wife knew I wasn't happy with the slightly mundane looks so she said I could swap the wheels over and I found a decent bonnet in Jazz Blue, (if you look at the first pic of my car in the thread you will see the ripples in the original bonnet)so with that I had to get the polish out
  10. The calipers look as though they have been replaced at some stage so I'm hoping that they're ok. I'll let you know later lol
  11. I've seen that there are left hand a right hand wind back tools. Am I right in thinking that mk4 golfs require a right hand wind back tool for the rear calipers? Eg to turn the piston clockwise to get it to retract?
  12. Lovely looking car, unusual colour
  13. Mk4 R32

    Beautiful looking mk4!!
  14. Custom Tdi mapping

I presume the TT liners need a bit of modifying to fit? Good info about the IC's
  15. Custom Tdi mapping

Oh, whilst I'm on it. Are all the factory fitted smic's the same? Eg: a pd150 smic would have the same capacity/flow rate as a 90bhp tdi (ALH engine code) smic?
