  1. Hi guys Just found this little tip over at SeatCupra.net, to fit a VAG Gasket onto your EGR inlet which will limit the amount of gases coming into your inlet manifold and possibly help with Stuttering issues. This Gasket is an original part listed in ETKA, it fits PD130,PD140,PD150,PD160, and PD170 Engines. Part Number:028131547B and is only about 2 quid. Old and new gaskets. it was designed to fix issues on the PD130s a while back but many SCN members are now putting this on other Larger engines and finding good results. it should only be a 5 minute job, and doesn't effect your engine management light as the EGR valve is not actually removed. Have fun
  2. Mk5 Rear Wheel Bearings

have you replaced them yet? The Seat Leon MK2/Altea/Toledo are based on the MK5 chassis and also suffer from road noise associated with rear wheel bearings, though this is usually a myth and it is the rear alignment that is out and cause tyre tread to wear uneven then give a similar rumble noise just like a wheel bearing. 4 wheel alignment usually sorts it out. just a thought....
  3. Some nice stopping power there now Lenny. looks very nice!
  4. gti ni stickers

  7. GSF are £195 inc VAT. just got one last week for mine. the internal cogs were chewed up. its a know issue with the BKD engines or the internal circuit board gets soaked in oil. more info here on SCN. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=189903 page 4 has pics of the internals. mine had ceased in a semi closed state. MPG was down to about 30mpg back to normal now though.
  8. My manifold flap died last week (fukin expensive) and only got it replaced yesterday. Got the oil/filter done today though car is absolutely boggin. will be at fortwilliam round about tomorrow for 8:30
  9. Get a remap and a performance airfilter (pipercross or something like that) Persoanlly I got an ST3 device from Gary (Raven) that allows you to choose what 2 maps you want, then you upload them yourself to the ECU when you want them. you can also revert back to the original map for warranty or mot inspection and when you sell the car.
  10. Guys, Anyone want to meet up before hand at fort william roundabout and then head upto AI motorsport? i'm not too sure of the way and a few people were interested in doing this.
  11. Xbox Death!

what age is the xbox? MS extended the warranty to 3 years afaik. try filling the warranty call in on the Xbox website, it will tell you whether your warranty is still in date. if you gonna go for DIY their are tons of videos on youtube and guides on how to fix the Ring of death
