  1. Whatever happened to this?

Definitely 14 years since I seen it, was at a rolling road day in Westward Engineering. Was a smashing car in its day
  2. Seat Ibiza/Cordoba cupra/gti owners

I have 2 of them, one 8v and one 16v both in Kiwi
  3. BBM mk2 gti

    Happy with the paint Darren?
  4. Barry, stance on say, a completely original mk1 GTi vs a modified late model scirocco are two completely different things respectfully And they are marked as such. Same mk1 that is completely original would loose points on the stance score of it was stupidly dropped but not in fitting with the theme of the build Regarding the handling/modification idea you have mentioned, it's not logistically possible or fair for the simple reason that the vast majority of cars don't have their owners present and judges can't make a fair call on same as they won't be aware of the specification I completely agree with you on the concours and its something that we are considering and will most likely implement
  5. Once the interior is sorted it'll bring home trophys

  10. OK, the other requirement is that you have a towing eye front and rear. If you only have front, the rear wheels can be strapped but East Coast will not be responsible if your wheels get scuffed. See you in the morning Ray
  11. Ok lads, here are the final details of thr RR day. Location: East Coast Customs, Unit 50D Enterprise Centre, Lisburn East Coast Customs is the following distance from: Ramada Shawsbridge [Hotel]: 10.5 miles [20 mins] Kings Hall [show Grounds]: Same as above Dundalk: 44 miles [1h 10 mins] SatNav: Just type in BT282BP into the postcode option and it'll bring you to the door Contact: You'll get me on +353878296770 if you're lost or have any issues etc Time: Please be there for 9:00am or shortly after. The sooner you get there, the sooner you get finished and to the pub! As you can understand we have a lotof cars to get through and it's first come first served Cost: £30 [stg] What you'll need: A car anyway! Check your levels [oil etc],if your timing belt is overdue i wouldn't recommend running your car. It is expected that your engine is in good condition, East Coast Customs cannot be responsible your the condition of your engine. Running it on the rolling road is the exact same as driving up the road in any gear from a low RPM to a High RPM You will be asked to fill out a form on the morning with your name, car make and model and expected BHP etc This is just a bit of fun, the person who gets closed to achieved BHP and Torque will receive a prize!! We still have a few places, if anyone wants to bring another car contact me directly on the number above and i'll tell you if we have another space We have close to 30 cars expected I'll be over at east coast around lunch time today and will pdate the thread later Should be a great start to a great weekend!
