  1. MK1 Jetta project

Unfortunately we have no time for these car so they are now for sale £600 for the both of them
  2. Gav if you could message me asap cheers #i have your bora now

  3. Yeh that actually looks spot on. Thanks for the reference
  4. Cheers Martin, I like the look of the way the sport Jetta sits with the standard sport wheels. That's the look I'm after
  5. I've had my 06 Jetta for 4 years now and have kept it standard. Had toyed with the notion of selling it but I ended up replacing my mk4 golf with an A4 instead. I'm in the idea of changing a few things on them, any help would be appreciated. Would like to change the Jetta (06 1.9 TDI s model) ride height to look more like the Jetta sport which I think is roughly 15mil lower Would also like to change the A4 (07 2.0 TDI se model) ride height to look more like the s-line model which I think is roughly 30mil lower My question is, would I get away with just changing the springs or would I have to change shocks as well? Would I be better going to a motor factors, Audi/VW, ebay, traynors, breakers to source the parts? Thanks Glenn

  8. MK1 Jetta project

Just out of curiosity, what sorta money would these fetch in this state? Having a bit if a debate with the brother and father at the minute as we are finding it very difficult to get time to do anything with these cars. Not much progress has been made since the last update
  9. Mk4 Golf *Wheels fitted :)*

U should of got a side on view. Them rims look class
  10. 1985 Golf GTI

Looks very clean. Good luck with it
  11. MK1 Jetta project

I should polish it up and keep it there lol
  12. MK1 Jetta project

And a home DIY effort the previous owner did on the front seat lol
  13. MK1 Jetta project

stripped another few bits and pieces of the jetta today. Suprised how rust free it is inside underneath everything. just very, very dirty
  14. MK1 Jetta project

The blue one has an incredible amount of rust (wings, arches, doors etc) not 100% sure what its like underneath. My plan is to strip everything of it like bumpers, lights, windows, dashboard etc and see whats salvageable. Red one is a non runner at the min but I've a VW mechanic family friend coming to have a look at it for me. He's another VW nut and has a couple mk1 golfs and mk2s so should no a thing or 2. Again I will try and update as often as I can but it will be slow. Time isn't easily got between the 3 of us.
  15. MK1 Jetta project

Lol I must see if I have 4 of them, thought they where pretty cool looking
