  1. Can you not buy repair tabs for these the same as all the later model cars?? Would be alot handier than having to get a headlight.
  2. Mk3 caddy van

I nearly forgot to update this. I got myself a set of original audi s8 "fat fives" had them fully refurbed and finished in a shadow chrome, but 8 specified more silver than chrome. And more recently i managed to get the MFSW all working, had to change out the steering controller/slip ring and the ignition switch, then with a bit of tweaking with VCDS all works as should. At the same time I also retrofitted the cruise control as it was just a case of coding once I had all the switch setup in. Got a bit of a bargain with a brand new genuine set of gti pedals, although had to separate and build my own pedal Base to the gti pedal as the bas3 for he caddy is alot wider and it would leave gaps around it. So next up is probably going to be the OPS, I got a few bits from a mk6 golf breaker, just need a main loom and front loom then I'll make up the rest of it as I've never seen a caddy with full OPS (Usually just the rears) Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Those wheels work so well on that! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Mk3 caddy van

Yet again more wee packages arrived for the van over the past couple of weeks for more interior upgrades which some of you may have already seen... A new gearknob (audi 5 speed) as the caddy one is horrible and plastic a bit like the other thing I replaced Polo 6R flat bottom MFSW, very similar to the mk7 wheel except I can actually get every button on this one to work, mk7 has software incompatibility issues meaning some of the buttons won't work, it would just annoy me so I opted for this one. Wheels will be sent away on Thursday for a refurb so hopefully get them back within a week or so. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Not really sure what I'm going to do as regards sign writing yet, I'll see how it looks when I'm done. Got round to finally fitting these today They are the ed30 side strips (also the same as the touran highline). I also fitted new number plate surrounds as the eBay ones weren't up to much. The OEM Bluetooth has now been fitted along with a DAB aerial for the rcd510, not much point showing a pic as it's a boring black box. [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Some fault code help

Yeah it's sadly a function only the full vcds will give you. Is there anything wrong with the car that they are bothering you??
  7. Some fault code help

Those faults should just erase, are you having any issues? I'm presuming it's either a vcds clone or vcds lite that's being used?
  8. Dubshed 2016 report

Great report Connor, well done on the prize too!
  9. Mk3 caddy van

Got a spare hour this evening so I decided to make a start on the rear seat belts, got them all mounted in behind the panels but have yet to get the upright fixing attached to the pillar, although I did manage to get my centre seat done. I always wanted the seats to be fully removable so I needed a centre belt that functioned properly for safety aswell as being removable for loading if I ever needed it..... I came up with this It's a genuine vw part mounted to the sear meaning I can removed the seat with the belt, also means it's nest and tidy when not in use. Also a big thanks to@Lenny for the deal on a RCD510. I need this to complete a few of my retrofits. I've a few other bits and pieces in place at the mo, but not completed but I'll update in due course. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  10. Dubshed 2016 Feedback

That's exactly how I found some of the prizewinners! #dubshed The show this year was a definite improvement, the location was fantastic. I didn't have to sit in any massive queues of traffic which was also a bonus. Weather let it down a bit but that's uncontrollable. I've only 2 things I couldn't get to grips with and someone may be able to answer one of them, 1 Was there a timetable or scheduled running for the outdoor events? I didn't really venture out too often due to the weather but any time I did all I saw was the autotesting which by all means is very entertaining and full of talent. 2. This may be just me, but the main hall could really have done with more lighting especially up the middle rows, I only really noticed it after walking round all the other areas and coming back into the main hall.
  11. PD high lift cam

Not the result I was expecting Len, where abouts did it split. Clamping cams are a nightmare, it's always a possible outcome regardless of the age/quality of the part.
  12. Car looks great Connor, some work has went into this thing, it's a real credit to you. I'll have to get a wee nosey round it at the show.
  13. Audi A4

Looks good, wheel alignment will do it the world of good. No pics of the inside?? Get the flat bottom into it just for the look, Lol.
  14. MK5 GTI Golf.

Seems to be quite a few people on that same boat! Lol have spoken to a few who were waiting paintwork but can't get it done. As you say, no point rushing it to end up making mistakes.
