  1. It's been a long long time coming and now she's home! Really chuffed with how it turned out definitely worth the wait! Still alot more changes to come. Dual chambers are in and CL taillights so I can get it through MOT. Need to order new clips for the door mouldings too so I can get them on. The plan is to get it MOTd next week then I'm going to get the coilovers and wheels on. The boot lock needs attention and number plate bulbs wired in too. I want to run amber indicators in the front bumper but the Euro ones don't fit in the US bumper so I'm going to try and split the lense and get the orange ones in. Lower bumper ducts don't fit either so OEM grills it is. Interior had 18 months of dust and crap in it so it got a good scrub and I also changed the pedals.
  2. Some pics of the front end....grill is only set on and car still needs polished etc but you get the idea it's starting to come together
  3. Some more pics, front end pretty much ready to bolt on
  4. He's not a bad lad and I've been throwing him loads of other stuff to paint (I'm a car dealer) so it's my own fault too lol
  5. Been a while from I updated this but finally have progress on the paint! Shell has been primed and painted now just waiting on the bootlid bumpers bonnet and grill and it's time to get it on the road! Wheels refurbished diamond cut and laquered... Shell and wings painted:
  6. No updates my painter promises he will do it during the Christmas period but I'm not holding my breath! Only it's in 100 pieces in his place I'd have taken it away already it's been there almost a year!
  7. The mk3 habit is hard to kick, love a jazz blue one too! Is the previous owner selling the air setup? I might be tempted
  8. and another..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-Leon-Cupra-R-Satellite-Navigation-System-Double-Din-Centre-Console-Tdi-Fr-/172212535819?hash=item2818aac20b:g:2NMAAOSwMr1XPcbR

  10. Expect to pay an absolute fortune for what it is....its about £400-500 just for the centre console setup and then you need an actual headunit lol they came in toledo V5s with sat nav i know of a guy selling a whole car for £700 it has nav leather and years mot.....better to buy it and strip the console and sell on IMO or if you get lucky and find one in a breakers yard. Heres a link for one on ebay and trust me its the right price always wanted one in my Cupra R but the price put me right off lol
  11. This makes me want a cabby but i only like them with the top down and then that makes ya look a bit of a beirut lol
  12. Still no update on the paint but more purchases as always! Originally had wanted to run the keskins but i wanted something a bit less common (well here in N. Ireland) so when stefan was talking about selling his corvette wheels and i just had to buy them, should tie in well with the whole US theme. Just have to get some adapters sorted now and sell the Merc ones that came with it. Also made a buy for the future incase i plan to do anything with the interior for a retrim, some colour concept seats bolsters are probably the best ive seen to be original and the yellow would be getting changed anyway, or a friend might swap his black CC seats for them wel see what happens lol
  13. Ive not really looked into the rear seats yet but a thick bar can be placed into the bracket to keep the seats together and then its a case of welding a catch for the latch to keep the seats up. This is coming nicely quite similar to mines but mines is a dirty derv lol
  14. Definitely different and i like! Does the tan dye look as good in person as it does in the pics?
  15. Looking good! I have mk4 seats in my mk3 and just got the rails welded onto the bottom instead of hacking up the floor but makes it so much easier what way did you do it?
