  3. Yes that definitely wouldn't help. They can be hard to get the right adjustment for the linkage at times too.
  4. Next Wednesday night at Lisburn Applegreen anyone?
  5. Great to see someone doing another mk3! Looks great so far Just on your clutch "issue".... Did you install new clutch slave and master cylinders when doing the 02A swap it reuse from the donor? Really like your shed btw!
  6. I had my headcloth Retrimmed by Arek in Ballymena, made a reasonably good job of it but they are notoriously hard to do. Black "dome switches" as the yanks like to call them are very rare but do come up for sale the odd time and are a nice mid to have. Do expect to pay £120-£150 as previously suggested! Black handles are from a B3 Passat I believe and black sunvisors plus clips from mk3 cabriolet, the latter being not too hard to find. Expect to pay around £35 for a visor set and around the same for handles.
  7. Shaping up to be a great stand! ?

Our show season closer is being held once again in the Titanic Dry Dock & Pump House Museum on Saturday 26th September. Everyone welcome and and entry includes access to the pump house and dry dock. Show cars strictly VAG and strictly by pre-registration and pre-payment only.
  9. Was thinking this myself actually, quite a few mk3's there at Castlewellan yesterday!
  10. If you're heading to the airport for around 7.30am you should be ok coming from the west. Heading back out of Belfast again once you're off the Sydenham bypass (which I can't speak for) and onto the Westlink it will be no bother. I travel the Westlink to Lisburn nearly every day around 9ish and it's never bad to get through unless there's an accident or something.
  11. This is brilliant Kenny! Look forward to seeing this finished :)
  12. Yep, definitely not missing this one! Great bunch of people running this show too so good to support them :)
  13. Great pics indeed! ????
  14. I'd like to start this thread by means of apology. I started a Facebook chat with those involved in today's club stand with disregard to the forum and its members. It wasn't intended to exclude anyone and sorry for anyone who felt left out. Nobody has complained but I still feel the need to apologise. Our club stands are open to all members and we do wish to encourage any lurkers or newcomers to the site to get involved. Anyhow, on a different note, well done to all that attended today and thanks for your efforts to help win best club stand at today's event! No mean feat with the number of cars on show! Heres a couple of pics, sorry for the lack of them from me but feel free to add yours
  15. Best plan!
