  1. Well, had a front lower spring mount failure on my Mk2 Scirocco, which took out the tyre as well and was quite an interesting experience! As a result I am looking at replacing the front suspension (both sides for safety). Anyone have any experience of this set up? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/front-suspension-kit-shock-absorbers-springs-bearings-VW-Golf-Mk1-Scirocco-Mk2-/361524252887?fits=Model%3AGolf&hash=item542c8650d7:g:vmIAAOSwbdpWXoz8 Seems way too cheap, but in case its a bargain sell off? I am probably going for bilstein from these guys https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/scirocco/171412031J/front-shock-absorber-complete-mk1-golf/?crumbStartPage=1&crumbStartRow=1 Do I need to replace the springs at the same time or should they be OK unless damaged? I am getting new bump stops thrown in with the Bilsteins, but is it necessary to swap out the tops also? I think they have been replaced at some point previously. Any insights / alternatives I should be considering? Any thoughts gratefully accepted!
  2. Thanks guys - I got it done at Hursts Sydenham - great job! Steering straight now!!
  3. Sorry ‚ÄčI can't work out how to post photos!!
  4. Thanks guys gives me a couple of options - any experience of Kerrs in dargan?
  5. Any tips on good place to have Mk2 GT2 rocco wheel alignment and camber sorted? I'm based in Greenisland, so greater Belfast preferred! Have fitted new wishbone and couple other bits and pieces, including new strut bolts, but now the alignment looks out, and the handling is not clever! Any advice greatfully received!
