  6. Indeed, there seems to be an uber amount of work put into this. I personally cant wait to see the show as i ve recently purchased my first VW. Cant wait to get talking to few people, getting some ideas and putting that into pratice. See you all there!
  7. I changed mine not so long ago, made the world of difference! Heater hardly worked when i bought the car, changed it, worked like new! The car is 10 years old, i doubt the filter had been changed from new!
  8. TJ Hamilton Cookstown VW

TBH its really quite common for garages to "skimp" on servicing costs. Alot of the time a full service involves only oil filter and oil itself, then they ll tell you they ve changed the air, fuel and pollen filters, and not actually bothered their backside. I work part-time in a small garage, and we often service cars with full dealer service history, although its obvious that sometimes the likes of the air filter and pollen filters havnt been changed from when they left the factory. Its crazy what some main dealers get away with these days, though I cant say i ve heard anything about T.J Ham's. Chances are mate, they ve tolod you they looked at your brakes, but never looked near them! In regards to filters, always mark them with something permament, or scrath something on them to help identify they ve been changed!

  12. banded steels

So wheres this guy Johnny from Ace Garage based at? 'The-Selkie', my brother owns and runs D&N Tyres in Feeny. He has a 4 wheel laser alignment machine which hes very handy with. Also, he's gonna have one of the new Hofmann V3D lite (completely computerised 3D thingy) in operation within the next 4 weeks. Apparently its going to be one of the most up to date machines in the north west for wheel alignment. Sure let me know if you cant get anything sorted.
