  1. That looks much better - good stuff.
  2. Nice range of stuff there Paul! The 110 bhp golf was a great motor back in the day although most testers and rolling road operators always said most had around 120 bhp in reality.
  3. Mega motor Nigel, nice to see another Corrado out.
  4. Hi Damo, welcome along; was down at the Terenure show in Dublin last week and it was great.
  5. Sweet; excellent film with the Mustang and Charger duelling.
  6. That looks sweet; always wanted one of these motors.
  7. Nice wheels!
  8. Nice motor and welcome along! Castlewellan always a good little show.
  9. Looks like quality stuff Nigel. Hope it goes well.
  10. I might have a used top spring plate you can have unless you are looking a new one? I always cover these in waxoyl when I am refitting.
  11. Bit of a marmite piece; they are certainly very retro but not for everyone! If you like it go for it - that's what I always do.
  12. LED's look good. Today I mostly fitted polyurethane hangers and the one with a chain inside to stop my Milltek hitting the rear beam on the mk2. Thankfully it has worked.
  13. That looks pretty good!
  14. When I arrived I identified myself as GTINI but they asked to put me outside instead. Actually this turned out to be ok as I got a great spot and was near the aircooled bus guys. Was a great show.
  15. New

    Welcome along, Polo driver perhaps?
  16. Entries obviously closed now; if you need another car for the stand I would be keen to go.
  17. Great professional show; fantastic that something of this standard can be run in Norn Iron
  18. Top Secret Evolution in Lisburn did mine and made a good job of it. Mine has the webasto sunroof so it was even more tricky than normal - not particularly cheap but if you want it done right...... Windscreen and side windows have to come out.
  19. Sounds good - they are an interesting alternative; mine always got a lot of attention from the MOT guys as most were diesels!
  20. Hi, is she the 150 hp or 170 hp model? I had the 150 hp model in a Toledo V5 and had it remapped with a panel filter; gave me an extra 9 hp and 168 lbs ft torque. Not a huge hp gain due to no turbo but was usefully more torquey in the mid-range.
  21. That should certainly stop it anyway!
  22. Not yet - had to invest some money in the wife's car so will probably hold onto it to get the good out of it! That sounds like fairly decent mpg on a run. Is that the 163bhp one?
  23. Swansea very efficient; got my mk1's original number plate back in under a week.
  24. Yeah, the noise a car makes is very important; have had three 5 cylinder cars and loved the off beat thrum. Even my Renault 11 Turbo made a nice whistle as the turbo was spooling up!
